Introduction

At The Grimsby Downtown Business Improvement Area, we understand the importance of the security of confidential information of all types including the protection of the privacy of personal information. This document sets out our policy regarding the security of confidential information and the collection, use and disclosure of personal information.

As a Local Board of the local Municipality under the Municipal Act or the Toronto Act (as applicable), The Grimsby Downtown Business Improvement Area may have obligations under the Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act., including in relation to the collection, use and disclosure of personal information.

Purposes of Collection, Use, Retention and Disclosure of Personal Information

The Grimsby Downtown Business Improvement Area collects, uses, retains and discloses personal information of individuals who interact with the The Grimsby Downtown Business Improvement Area (“Individuals”) as necessary to operate The Grimsby Downtown Business Improvement Area, and to provide services and programs to The Grimsby Downtown Business Improvement Area‘s stakeholders.
